August 2 – 23 Fridays at 7:00 p.m. check out movies under the stars at Symphony Park at South Park. They have a live band, concessions, family activities and other entertainment. The movie begins at dusk…when you can see it.  

August 3 The Japanese Association in Charlotte will host their 29th annual Bon-Odori Festival.
