Catch live Shakespeare performances on The Green in Uptown Charlotte on Thursday – Sunday evenings for Taming of the Shrew. The Charlotte Shakespear group performs a variety of Shakespeare plays throughout the year…sometimes in theaters and other times on an outdoor stage. If you dig the historical poet and playright…or old English and its accompanying attire…get to the Green! The play is free but $5 donations are suggested per person. You can bring blankets, lawn chairs and your own food if you desire.
