The Vietnamese Association of Charlotte brings us Tet Festival 2013 – a New Year Festival on Sunday from 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The program will include the Miss Vietnam of the Carolinas Beauty Pageant, a lion dance, folk dances and Vietnamese food and drinks. The event is free for those 6 years of age and younger, $3 for all others.
Where: CPCC Taylor Hall, 1228 Elizabeth Ave, Charlotte, NC
Why attend: Anyone can go. Take your family, friends or venture on your own. A small price for a splash of culture.
