Tuesday evenings are FREE at the Mint Museum Uptown and Randolph. Every once in a while they have an interactive workshop or special event. This week you can preview the film Wasteland at Mint Museum Uptown from 7 – 8:30 p.m. The movie sheds light to what happens in the world’s largest trash city – Rio De Janeiro. The film has won awards at both the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals. The viewing is free, but you must register online.
The exhibition VantagePoint X / Vik Muniz: Garbage Matters will be on view at Mint Museum Uptown through April 28, 2013.
