Kaleidoscope brings Olympic medalists to Charlotte

Kaleidoscope on Ice Holiday Celebration of Cancer Survivorship is pretty much summed up in its title. It’s a time to celebrate cancer survivors through Holiday entertainment. This includes Olympic medalists such as Sasha Cohen, Evan Lysacek, Nancy Kerrigan, Paul Wylie and Kurt Browning. As well as musical performers including Kool & the Gang, Craig Morgan from Grand Ole Opry, Jana Kramer and pop-rock duo Karmin. The event is hosted by my childhood favorite, Scott Hamilton who is a cancer survivor, and Olympic medalists Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman. Great lineup. The show begins at 7 p.m. at Bojangles’ Coliseum at 2700 E. Independence Blvd. Ticket prices range from $5 to $25 before fees.
