Pow Wow: Indian Heritage Celebration

Celebrate American Indian Heritage Month on the Campus of UNC Charlotte. The event will share tradition and contemporary American Indian culture through traditional music and dance performances, education workshops, art displays, family activities and crafts for children. You will even find contemporary artists who will share about the relevance of their heritage and culture in their works. And for those who like beats, there’s a Pow Wow with drummers taking place as well. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Star Quad. More.
