Charlotte’s Fashion Week is back and ready to present the latest couture and luxury fashions from local and abroad designers. The event will also feature local hair stylists and make up artists. Plus you’ll find fine art, luxury items, shopping and networking opportunities as well as guest appearances by well-known individuals (I heard Tracy Sipp, celebrity stylist from Housewives of Atlanta will make it to the event.) A portion of the proceeds benefit Project Halo.
The kick-off event to mingle with designers, models and others is Tuesday, September 18 at 7 p.m. and entry is FREE. A glance of the schedule from the press release:
Wednesday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m: Gentleman’s Swank Night, Fashion for the Modern Male located at The Residence at Southpark 4300 Sharon Road.
Thursday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m.: Bridal and Couture, A spectacular display of designs for bridal and upscale couture fashion featuring VIP tables complete with wedding cake!
Friday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m.: Emerging and Fashion Designers, The latest designs from established and new designers from the Charlotte and surrounding areas.
Saturday, September 22nd at 7:00 p.m.: Recyclable and Re-Model Talent, See recyclable designs by artists and designers created entirely from recyclable or re-purposed materials.
Events listed Thursday through Saturday will all be held at the Reelworks Movie Production Company at 817 Hamilton Street in the NC Music Factory. More.
