Shag dancing, ballroom stepping

The House of Jazz has a shag night every Wednesday. Dancing takes place from 7-10:30 p.m. You’ll also find food and drinks at the venue. They’re located in Cornelius at 19501 West Catawba Ave. but it’s not as far away as it seems if you’re traveling from Charlotte. Details.

Also, catch the Priester Brother Band at 8 p.m. on July 27 and right after the band, the Detriot Ballroom Steppers. Maybe you can pick up a step or two. Details.
